Behavior Therapist
Maddy started working with Actualize Behavior Alternatives in 2025 out of the desire to continue her growth and further her understanding of the human person. She seeks to learn how to deeper serve those in her community. She values genuine and meaningful connection and desires to serve others from this vantage point.
She received bachelors of art degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and is working towards a masters in mental health counseling at Liberty University. She has recently published research regarding how perception can impact biological health, and is continuing in the research field to further investigate the mind body and wellness connection.
Maddy has traveled around the world to serve and research various communities. This has allowed her to meet people of diverse cultural backgrounds and circumstances. Something that has stood out to her is that every person has faced some problem of loneliness or relational conflict, no matter what other needs or circumstances there were in their lives. This has resulted in her intense passion to improve the human condition thought bettering psychosocial skills. She strives to promote holistic wellness and wholeness in each individual, no matter of their personal contexts or circumstances, so that individual may thrive and have abundant life.
If Maddy could choose any superpower it would be to telepathically communicate with a legion of raccoons- just to know what they’re thinking… and to be prepared to participate in their antics.
In her free time you can most often find her reading books, sewing, eating the yummy food her husband makes her [professional taste tester :)], working in her community garden, or playing music! She also loves hiking, large and chaotic family gatherings, and spending time in the sun.
