Registered Behavior Technician
Mackenzie started working with Actualize Behavior Alternatives in 2025 out of the desire to provide individualized, evidence-based care to empower clients to reach their full potential.
Mackenzie received her Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude with distinction from the University of Colorado Boulder. As a research assistant for the Arch Laboratory, she completed an award-winning honors thesis, earning the Imogene Jacob’s Thesis Award for best undergraduate honors thesis in Psychology. She was recently accepted into the University of Denver’s Doctor of Clinical Psychology program and is eager to continue gaining clinical experience prior to beginning her graduate studies.
One of the most valuable lessons Mackenzie has learned from the school of hard knocks is to choose kindness, even when it’s inconvenient.
If Mackenzie could choose any superpower, it would be to tell the future.
In her personal time, you can most often find her attending hot yoga, hitting the sauna and cold plunge, playing pickle ball with friends, walking on Sloan’s Lake, planning and cooking meals, or journaling/reading a book.
