Registered Behavior Technician
Jess started working with Actualize Behavior Alternatives in 2024, with the desire to make an impact on Colorado youth through fun, interactive activities.
Jess received her associate’s degree with a focus on Arts & Humanities in 2019, from San Joaquin Delta College. During her time at Delta, Jessica went to State Championships twice for college diving, also while maintaining honor roll, and working multiple jobs, such as coaching recreational swimming, waitressing, and babysitting.
In 2020, Jess moved to Colorado, to continue her educational goals. She attended Colorado Mesa University and received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. During this time, Jess was a nanny to four kids and going to school. Currently, Jess is working on her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, with goals to become a BCBA by 2026.
Jess’s passion for working with children began early. She was born in Romania and grew up in California from the young age of 2. Jessica has memories of learning English by playing with other preschoolers.
In elementary school, her best friend received extra support from the school. Often, Jess would have lunch with her best friend, and the school counselor. This experience shaped her desire to be the friend that everyone deserves.
One of the most valuable lessons that Jess has learned from the school of hard knocks is that you can learn something from everyone.
If she had a superpower, it would be to teleport.
In her personal time, you can find her taking a nature walk, listening to music, swimming, napping, or reading by a body of water. Jess loves live music and trying new ice cream flavors.
